Our Story

The Apiary Rainha da Flor was founded in 1999, by the bee keepers couple: Jovets Peres da Silva and Mariléia Corrêa da Silva, in the city of Balneário Gaivota, South of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

It consists a family Business in which all the raw material used is of its own origin, through the creation of bees in the extreme South of Santa Catarina state and region of the Santa Catarina mountain range.

Organic Honey, Organic Bracatinga Melate Honey Honeydew, Propolis, Pollen, Wild Honey, Eucalyptus Honey are some products from Rainha da Flor Apiary, all Organic Certified.

Bracatinga melate honeydew honey is produced every two years, from the bark of this tree that is attacked by mealybugs, a parasitic insect that sucks sap from the tree and expels secretion, a sweet liquid that attracts bees, which produce this type of honey. dark in color and slightly less sweet than that of a floral origin, bracatinga melate honey has many medicinal properties and a high concentration of minerals.
